Upcoming topic:
Tying EDI into Our Plans of Work

Action Steps Reminder
Please remember to send us your responses to the action steps mentioned in the September recording at [email protected]. We will share online and at our November meeting.

  • Set aside time to talk with your colleagues and regional director about how to better engage various audiences in your county across gender, sex, abilities, language, race, socio-economic status, etc.
  • Share back to the EDIC the three best practices your region identified.

2021-22 Season

This year’s six conversations about equity, diversity and inclusion issues take place during regularly scheduled third Tuesday meetings. All MU Extension faculty and staff are invited and encouraged to attend — not just those who regularly attend the third Tuesday meetings.

September recording (available below): Reframing our Goals
During this first conversation, we reviewed our MU Extension EDI strategic plan and goals.

Past Conversations

Fireside Conversations provide an open, safe and trusting forum for dialogue, sharing and learning around Equity, Diversity and Inclusion issues, education and training. These sessions are a way for us to engage across MU Extension to strengthen our competencies and understanding of how to keep EDI central in our lives and work.
