Marketing Food and Agriculture Products Online - Professional Development Training

Join the MU Extension Local Food Systems Team for a timely and important professional development training funded by Missouri Sustainable Agriculture Research and Extension (SARE). This four-part series will provide extension specialists an overview of how producers can use various technologies to sell their products online. The training will take specialists through what the research and market analysis says about the benefits and drawbacks of selling products on online, and participants will hear from producers who sell their product online and in other marketing channels. Through this training, Extension Specialists will increase their knowledge on internet-based sales platforms for producers and have increased confidence in providing research-based education to their clients. 

The series will take place on Thursdays from 1-3pm beginning May 27th through June 17th on Zoom. All sessions will be recorded and available to anyone who registers for this event.
