On behalf of the awards committee we would like to congratulate all winners. Your dedication and service to MU Extension is outstanding. There were forty nominations this year. The committee had a difficult time with so many selections. Every nominee deserves recognition. The letters from yourselves, CES's, Co-workers and Councils were amazing! I am sure there are times when we ask ourselves "why am I doing this?" The answer is "To feel good about your accomplishments" and to be complimented and recognized sure does make you feel good! The local County MU Extension offices have a history of long-time employees, some as long as fifty-five years or more. What does this say about MU Extension as a whole? It says MU Extension is a great place to work and if not for our county clerical staff supporting the staff and great customers, MU Extension would not be the same. Everyone nominated should be proud!

Thank you again for your continued support and remember: "A person who feels appreciated will always do more than what is expected." - unknown.

Sincerely,
Marsha Parson, Chair and Award Committee
