MAEP Awards
MAEP recognizes professional excellence and achievement of members with a number of state and national awards. Chapter awards nominations and selection are carried out by the chapter.

Achievement Award
The purpose of the Achievement Award Program is to encourage and recognize excellence in the field of professional Extension for members with less than 10 years of service.

Selection
The Achievement Award shall be awarded to Agents with less than 10 years of service in Cooperative Extension Service who have exhibited excellence in the field of professional Extension. Nominees must be members of the State and National Association the year that they receive the award and have the approval of their state Extension Director. Recipient must attend NACAA Annual Meeting to receive award, unless exempted by Committee Chair because of extenuating circumstances.

Distinguished Service Award
The purpose of the Distinguished Service Award Program is to encourage and recognize excellence in the field of professional Extension for members with more than 10 years of service.

Selection
The Distinguished Service Award shall be presented to members who have served at least 10 years as members of the Cooperative Extension Service, who have conducted outstanding programs, are held in high esteem by their fellow workers, and are approved by the State Director of Extension. They must be members of their State and National associations the year that they are selected. Recipient must attend NACAA Annual Meeting to receive award, unless exempted by Committee Chair because of extenuating circumstances.

NACAA Hall of Fame Award
The purpose of the Hall of Fame Award is to recognize individuals for demonstrated commitment, dedication and effective leadership in job performance as an outstanding educator, consideration for association involvement at both the state and national level, and outstanding humanitarian service. This award recognizes members with sustained and distinguished careers.

Selection
All current and life members of the are eligible, except previous winners. The candidate must have previously been awarded the Distinguished Service Award (DSA).

2007 — Ray Davis, Retired Agriculture Specialist
Ray Davis received the Hall of Fame Award from MAEP in 2007. Ray began his extension career in 1958 and retired in 1989.

Eldon Cole received the first Hall of Fame Award from MAEP. It was presented by then President Parman Green at the Missouri Galaxy Conference in October 2006. Eldon began his extension career in 1964.

Ag Leader Award
MAEP members have all worked with people who have provided outstanding support in our programs and really stand out in their support of Missouri agriculture. The MAEP Ag Leadership Award is a great way to acknowledge them.

Selection
Any farmer, agribusiness person, administrator, media or agriculture agency employee who has provided leadership in Missouri agriculture and through the University of Missouri. The executive committee will review all applications. An award presentation may be made at the annual meeting during Annual Fall Conference if the nominee is available to attend, or can be made locally at other functions.
